Revolutionizing Baby Furniture: Nico Cot by German Jauregui

Unique, Recyclable, and Award-Winning Design for the Modern Nursery

German Jauregui's Nico Cot, inspired by the birth of his son, is a groundbreaking design that combines aesthetics, safety, and sustainability. This award-winning cot is a testament to Jauregui's innovative approach and commitment to creating functional, contemporary furniture for children.

German Jauregui, a seasoned designer with over 20 years of experience in contemporary furniture design, found his inspiration for the Nico Cot with the birth of his son, Nicholas (Nico). His frustration with the lack of sophisticated design options for children's spaces led him to create a solution that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The Nico Cot stands out due to its unique properties. Made from 100% recyclable inert resin, it offers a safe and hygienic environment for babies. Its soft touch, ease of cleaning, and resistance to splintering make it an ideal choice for modern parents. The cot comes in five different colors and meets Australian, European, and American safety standards.

Jauregui's innovative use of LLDPE (low linear density polyethylene), a material never before used in baby cot manufacturing, showcases his commitment to pushing the boundaries of design. The cot is produced using a process called rotomoulding, which allows for precision and stability during production.

The Nico Cot is not just a sleeping space; it's a piece of furniture that grows with the child. It can be transformed into a toddler bed and has a double position for the mattress, catering to different stages of a child's development. This thoughtful design reflects Jauregui's understanding of the needs of contemporary parents and children.

German Jauregui's Nico Cot is a shining example of how design can revolutionize everyday objects. It challenges traditional nursery styles and invites parents to think outside the wooden box. The cot's award from the prestigious A' Baby, Kids and Children's Products Design Award in 2016 further solidifies its position as a trendsetting creation in the world of children's furniture.
